The shape of these stools is perfect for my French Country kitchen. I use them at one end of my kitchen island. When they arrived, I had a handyman already at the house doing other things, so I asked him to assemble them. He had trouble, and couldn't get one screw in one of the stools. Also, Each time a kid pushes in a stool to the island, the paint chips.
These bar stools were exactly what I was looking for to go with my shabby-sheik decor. I bought 3. The assembly on the first one took about 45 minutes, but on the second one it took 20 minutes, and on the third I blew through it in 10 minutes! I just needed to follow the directions methodically first soI didn't make a mistake. I Ama single mid-thirties woman that isn't very "handy," so anyone can do it.
