We put these outdoor recliners outside and less than 6 days later, these were completely stained and gross. We couldn't believe it. These were on a deck upstairs, not around dirt. Even if I wanted to wipe them down, I couldn't. Absolutely disgusting and horrible quality.
I rarely write reviews. This little chair is lightweight, but very well engineered. Someone cared about the design. I'm a woman over 50 and put it together in a snap by myself. It's easy to adjust the back while sitting in it. Happy.
Very comfortable I recommend it to friends. Shipping was quick.
THE GOOD: *Easy assembly: 2 screws, 2 joints, done. *Five easy-to-adjust positions *Pull-out footrest *Pull-out roller foot massager *The bamboo is flexible and thus more comfy *Reasonably good finish *Bonus: Folds for storage. THE BAD: *Unfortunate proportions. Although the chair is 66" (I am 65"), my feet hang off the footrest, which is still comfy, but possibly not for much taller bodies. The headrest, which should fit into the neck contour, instead hits the outcurve of my head. Despite the bendy nature of the convex bamboo strips, it's not restful. THE FIX: I bought a tufted high-back outdoor pad (chaise pad is too long), which lifts me a couple of inches, so problem solved. You need a heavily packed cushion that claims to be 4-5" if you want a bit more height to shift the proportions. Plus, cushioning elevates luxury of entire chair. Just be prepared to fork over another $* to $*. Still, I was prepared to buy a lumbar pillow and footrest stool for an unadjustable, unfoldable conventional rocker without bonus foot rollers. Thus, the good rocker price and sum total was a happy exchange for a way to de-stress outdoors, watching the clouds drift by.
No back support. Did not find it comfortable
I wanted a chair that not only rocks but reclines. I am totally satisfied having found and purchased this chair. Just what I was looking for in my next chair.
Seems sturdy and really pretty. A little bit uncomfortable, but that can be allayed by a cushion. Intend to put outside. There are a couple of places where globs of polyurethane piled up. Biggest gripe is the manufacturer put bubble wrap on the arms and then fastened the tilt-back adjusting hardware over the top of it. Had to unscrew the arm hardware and remove bubble wrap. Alternative is leave plastic poking out under the chair arms.
Super product! You can manipulate the lounger in so many ways! And it is very comfortable!
Uncomfortable. Difficult to maneuver.
I bought this chair late last summer and only had a chance to use it a few times. I'm excited about using it this summer because it is in a perfect recline position (great book reading, tea sipping and the all important exhale moment). The wood is smooth and polished and natural. I don't allow anyone else to sit in it as it is a part of my deep meditation groove! Great chair!
