The chairs have been in use now for a some months. They are great looking and are holding up great under the abuse of my teenagers. They are solid! It looks like you should be able to fold them, but they don't after they've been assembled.

These chairs were filthy dirty. The color of the canvas is not even close to the represented add. The screws were all stripped. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Great deal for two sturdy, stylish and roomy chairs. The only drawback is the chairs can't be folded for storage. The footrest/bar has to be unscrewed first. Love the look! Very Zen.

I like the Director Chairs so much I went back for a second set. They are cumfortable, strong, well crafted, and I can chainge the seat covers out at the local Inport Store. It makes me feel good to be Earth Frindly too.

Sturdy, comfortable and nice looking. Nicely constructed- and I do like that they fold. It is bamboo so it is not a polished look, there are pieces on the ends that will splinter a bit. I bought these chairs for our booth at a boat show, but loved them so much I've bought two more sets for our office. The cream canvas is a nice look, but would have preferred a darker color as I'm sure they'll look dirty quickly. I haven't looked closely at how involved it would be to change out the canvas when needed. The back would be a synch, but the bottom part would probably need to be taken a part to replace the fabric.
