The family business has been passed down for four generations and is now headed by Samad, who has revitalized and modernized the company. The workshop uses traditional techniques and employs nearly 80 local workers who are paid fair wages. No corners are cut in the creative process, ensuring that each tile is crafted with care and attention to detail. The colors used come from natural sources, such as mint leaves for green and orange peel for orange, and the tiles themselves are made from a simple mixture of cement, sand, and granite powder. Moroccan Mosaic's goal is to share the beauty of traditional Moroccan tile with the world while promoting sustainable and ethical practices.
