I wouldn't buy these again. Seat surface is small, I'm 6ft tall 190 lbs and these seats are small. The back is way low and material feels weak. It is good for kids. The instructions are terrible. They give you 3 different size screws & instructions tell you to use same screw for everything. You have to figure it out on your own. So if your not mechanically inclined skip this product.

  • Ashley Blaire bar stool is beautiful!
    Verified Purchase

The Ashley Blaire bar stool was my very first purchase from Overstock. I was very impressed with the high quality of the bar stool for the low price I paid. The very next day after receiving my bar stool, I purchased several more items of furniture from Overstock. All of the the items have been of very high quality and always better than I expected when I ordered them.

I ordered two of these stools, which were a perfect height and design for my new kitchen, so I promptly ordered a third. By mistake I received a bar-height stool instead of a counter height, and didn't notice the leg length until _after_ I had assembled it. Disassembling it and finding a box to ship the legs in & driving to UPS to return the item took a lot of the enjoyment out of things. My replacement stool arrived in a reasonable amount of time, but the seat had shoddily drilled screws hole with metal sleeves that don't permit re-drilling, so I had to get my own hardware & do some re-engineering just to get the durn thing to stay together safely. For the price I didn't expect the best quality, but the issues of the last stool and the return took this from a four star decent-for-the-money review to a it'll-work-but- I wouln't-get-another review.
