Used these for both kitchen and bath as a backsplash. Wanted something neutral that could work with warm or cool tones, and this was perfect. The tile is silvery white at a distance, but little cream and tan variations in the shell can be brought forward with warm colors. Used this with light gray cabinetry and it helps keep it from being too cold-looking in the kitchen. In the bath it is paired with white walls and vanity, and here the shell looks warmer with the white backdrop. The shimmer and natural variation of the shells lends texture and dimension as opposed to a flat ceramic or porcelain look. Holds up well to wiping, but it is "seamless" and therefore not as waterproof as fully grouted tile. It is also thinner than standard tile. It seems to protect the wall well in areas of low to moderate splash, but would probably not work in a shower. Have gotten so many compliments on this tile.
I bought them for my powder room, for my beach house and I love them! They are very fragile and probably not easy to install but, they are beautiful!
So beautiful! The tiles were easy to install and the "groutless" look gives great continuity. We installed on an entire bathroom wall and it is stunning. The price was lower than most mother of pearl tiles I have seen.
Love this tile. It's thin but perfect for what I needed. They arrived quickly with no issues!
