Ahhh this framed art piece looks very nice, and ended up being a good buy for us. It looks perfect in any room, and would make a nice gift. I am encouraged to buy one, maybe two more to give away as gifts (it’s that nice!). Anyways the piece has an acrylic-like finish (which helps give it a sort of hand craft-ish feel), plus it really does look just like it was pictured online. This wall art is presented in a black wooden frame, and arrived ready to hang! It would also look great placed placed on a shelf, bookcase, or by a window sill or ledge facing outside. Overall Five stars, nice wall decor all the way. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have, please feel free to ask in Question & Answer section below :-) Thx, Marie
I love this painting so it's hard not to love the print. I never owned a gallery-wrapped print before, though I've seen them in stores, and I bought the 36 by 36 size. I think the other reviewer must have ordered the stretched canvas, not the gallery wrapped one, because mine had the painting completely covering sides-- definitely not white.and looked exactly how I was hoping it would look. Gallery wrapped means the canvas is stretched so that the painting or the painted (in this case printed) part of the canvas is stretched around the sides and stapled to the frame in the back so that the staples are not visible and so that no white part of the canvas is visible. Stretched would mean (normally) that the canvas is stapled to the sides of the frame (sometimes the back, like gallery wrapped) and that the end of painted part might very well be visible on the sides of the frame. A stretched canvas would normally be put into a frame and a gallery wrapped canvas doesn't need a frame-- in fact, the frame is wider than normal so a normal frame woudn't even fit well. Anyways, I do like this a lot and it's in a prominent place in my home. Since ordering this, I saw some other printed canvases in some stores and they really were less attractive than this-- the quality looked really poor compared to this. I don't really know why because I didn't get a chance to inspect and I don't know exactly what didn't appeal to me. But, this print is gorgeous and the colors are really vibrant. I do wish they added some texture to give the look of brushstrokes. I've seen that done elsewhere and that really looks good. This canvas is very lightweight because there's no paint on it. SO, that was pretty odd, but I suppose expected. My first order of this print was lost so it had to be replaced. My second one took 12 business days of "processing" before it shipped. All in all, this took over a month to arrive but I'm very happy with it. Would have given it five stars except for the fact it's not textured like some prints are. I didn't order those side panel paintings that go with this one because I dislike the look of "matching" canvases. .. but I wish that the painting was even wider than 3 feet. 3 foot high by 4 feet wide would be a great option.
This canvas piece is pretty good for the price, but don't expect it to look exactly like the picture. For one thing, the picture on the website makes the set look bigger than it actually is. I was surprised when I pulled it out of the box. It's also not painted the same. It's very similar, but mine has significantly fewer leaves in certain places and less detail overall. It's still very good, though, just different. The colors are great, and I'm happy with how it looks. Another thing is that the canvas frames are not perfectly flat. They do not lay flat against the wall. And a couple of the frames' pieces are not fully square lengths of wood (one end is more narrow than the other, e.g.). You can't see this when it's installed, and it doesn't seem to affect the canvas. But it gives it a cheaper feel, almost as if they use scrap wood whenever possible. Overall this is a good piece for the price, but don't expect it to be perfectly amazing, like gallery-quality. The artist is clearly talented and the paint looks great (minus the lower-level of detail compared to the stock website photo). But the frame quality and somewhat deceiving size bring down the overall impression.
