Very nice piece of furniture. The ordering and receiving was very smooth, and my husband put it together. It took him several hours, but he was careful and followed the instructions. The finish is very well done and it is exactly what I wanted. Very pleased with this purchase
The finishes armoire looks great but took FOREVER to build. Like 4-5 hours. The person who put this together has put together all my *** furniture and several pieces from *** and *** and this by far took longer than anything. The directions weren't quite crystal clear and there are a TON of parts. I'm happy with the finished product though. It looks nice and holds plenty.
I am very happy with this purchase. I'm turning a sitting room without a closet into a bedroom. This armoire holds lots of clothes and shoes and blankets behind three doors and two very large drawers, in a beautiful piece of furniture in a cherry finish. The wardrobe arrived quickly in two large boxes, and it was packed very well, so all the parts arrived in perfect condition. The wardrobe did take a handy friend close to three hours to put together. The piece is well made, for the most part, except for one narrow strip of cheap wood which goes behind the leftmost door to fill in the gap between the left and the center doors. I understand that the strip of plywood hides the gap and allows for there not to be a center pole which would make hanging clothes on the rod more difficult. Fortunately, the strip is mostly hidden and is stained cherry to match the doors, so it isn't that noticeable unless one looks closely.
We received the packages for this Armoire early which was really nice. I had a professional assembler unpack and set it up so it was straight forward. If the floor is slightly tilted (like on carpet up on top of carpet tacks against wall, front needs to be shimmed up otherwise the doors will shift and be out of balance, which isn't a huge issue. However, this was assembled on Sunday and today (Friday) it still stinks!! We're going to try things like baking soda, white vinegar, or activated charcoal to see if we can remove the odor. If you purchase this, sit it in a garage for a week or more to try to air it out before setting up inside your home. We've already attached to the wall so unless we undo all that, we can't take that route now.
