Arlo Blinds Tuscan Bamboo Roman Shade with 54 Inch Height

I should have bought these shades years ago. My wife kept buying thoes paper shade that she would trow out when they needed cleaning. I would have saved plenty of cash had we bought these shades first. The only thing that must be said is that these shades are transparent. If you want to have total privacy you must install a pull down shade under, or install material to the underside.

Love these! I should of ordered ones an inch smaller but they still work! Mine are mostly for looks but they will still work great if we need privacy. I like the light that shines through but if you want total darkness these are not what you want.

This Tuscan Bamboo Shade (like many others styles on O.) comes in a wide variety of width, so don't worry if you have an old house like mine, where some windows measure 31", others 33" and a few 35"...... you can give a coherent look to your house just by chosing these high-end shades. On top of this, my dining room windows measure only 52" in length and most of the dept stores shades measure usually 62" in lenght, therefore they would be too long. These smart 54" Tuscan shades give my window a custom-made look at the wonderful value that O. always maintains. I love Overstock, I shop here as my first option, for everything. One thing to be said, as pointed out in other reviews: color is lighter than depicted, a warmer tone of brown, which looks even better with the mahagonny stain of my windows. Don't look any further, buy these shades and enjoy them. By the way: installation is a breeze!

This is a great shade. The quality of the shade compares to shades priced much higher on different web sites. We hung this in a bathroom as part of a "redo" of the room and it looks great! One issue with this type of shade for anyone who has never had this type would be to realize it will not completly reach to the inside of the window frame. I gave accurate measurements, however this type usually leaves about 1 inch between the shade and frame. We hung it as an inside mount. We have used it for nightime privacy and it is working perfectly! I love the natural variations in the colors of the bamboo with this shade. Also, my window is not as long as the shade I ordered, as it did not come in the exact length I needed. No problem, when the shade is down, the excess material folds nicely on the window sill. Because the price was so reasonable, that was the reason I decided to order a shade a bit too long. I would give this product an A+!

I needed to cover 9 windows in my house and really needed affordable shades. I love the bamboo shade look and was pleased to find these on overstock.com. You can't beat the price for these shades; I priced bamboo shades at other stores (at least 5 major home and decor stores) and nowhere comes close. They do not provide total privacy but I needed protection from the sun instead. If you're looking for total privacy but want the warm look of these shades too, add some drapes and close them as needed. These shades were very easy to install. I installed them by myself (inside mount), although having another person to hold it up for you would be helpful. My husband installed the others on an outside mount in no time as well. I love the look and would definitely recommend to others.

This Tuscan Bamboo Roman Shade is WONDERFUL, and what a BARGAIN!!! I've purchased six for my summer home. All were of excellent quality and, according to my husband, easy to install. I like the fact that almost every width is available by one-inch increments. They are light-filtering and provide nice "shade," if you will, from the sun. I hung sheers over all of my shades and between the two, they block the light. I challenge you to visit other websites and find something comparable at this price!! Although my shades have been installed for only a couple of months, they are holding up well and there have been no problems/glitches with them. Great bargain, great shade!!

Most reviewers said, "Once you get the process down for hanging them, it goes smoothly." I totally agree. I bought four of these. I felt like we were stymied when hanging the first one, but then we had an "aha" moment and got into a groove. Also, other reviewers commented that these were more for decoration than pure light blocking. Again I agree with this. We hung these in our mudroom. They nicely cover up our outdated windows, but you can still pretty much see right through them. I wouldn't use them in a bedroom, so they're fine for our needs. We went an inch down in width for all our windows, I got three 29-inch blinds for our 30-inch windows, and a 33-inch blind for our 34-inch window. We hung them inside the windows. Obviously there's a slight gap between the blinds and the window but that seemed a better alternative to us than hanging them outside the window. Overall, a rather fine putrchase considering the price and that we couldn't find what we wanted made in America.

Love the shades! Would have given it a 5 but the measurements are dead-on so when you add in the brackets, they are the least bit too wide for the inside mount. They tell you to order 1/2 inch less in width, but they don't come in 1/2 sizes. I trimmed the wood and cut the bamboo under the valance to make it fit. A bit of a pain but once up, they look great!! I also ordered them for my sliders - what a great deal with 2.95 shipping!

I love this roman shade made of bamboo. The color is great and looks much, much more costly than it was. It was easy to install. I did it myself because my husband was too tired that day, and I couldn't wait to get it up. I got this for my bathroom. I am going to order more of them replacing my 2 inch plantation blinds in the family room to give it a more updated look.

My decorating style is vintage cottage/shabby chic. I couldn't wait to replace my old window treatments in my kitchen/dinette area with these! The look is clean but warm at the same time. A bonus is that bamboo is environmentally friendly. They are a really popular choice right now in many of the decorating magazines. They went up very easy , and are light filtering.

i purchased 2 of these for a couple of small window on the sunrise side of my house. we hung them above the window. they look great. funky and very natural. they filter the morning light in a very soft and pretty way. saw these on other websites for 4 to 5 times the price of these. another great overstock buy.

I had purchased other roman shades for another room of my house at a local store and was very happy with them but when I went to purchase more for another room, they were discontinued. So, I reluctantly purchased these, sight unseen, and could not be more happy. They are better made, easier to clean, simply beautiful and they COST LESS!! I might have to put them in every room! They arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I highly recommend them.

We did the inside mount and they look great. The header sits flush with the wall and then blinds also go up and down easily. You can see some light through which was what we were looking for. Not for total privacy but will cut the sun at needed times of day for us.

Love these blinds. We ordered custom sizes for 5 windows in our house. The quality is excellent and they arrived promptly. In the future, I would order these a bit smaller than the window frame, as the attachment brackets added extra width, and the blinds didn't quite fit with them. Instead, we installed without the attachment brackets, which worked fine.

These blinds are a great value for the price. They are true to the color shown and were so easy to install. They are just the look I wanted for our 6 windows in our family room - they add texture and interest, yet have clean, simple lines. Would definitely recommend them to others. (Also, they arrived in 2 days!)

Ordered two of these for living room of a summer house. Arrived in time and packaged well. Measurements were perfect and color just as it looked on line, these allow light in and seem pretty well made. They do allow light in and are medium for privacy. At night you can see outlines of shapes and movement but can't really tell what you are seeing, pic taken right before sunset, you can see house next door but can't make out details which is what I wanted.

These are the second color of bamboo blinds that I've ordered from Overstock, and I was not disappointed. We have exactly 29in windows so the fit is quite tight, given that the mounting hardware adds 1/8 to 1/16th of an inch to each side. The mini valance hides all the mountings, so the overall look is clean and somewhat modern. The color is a really nice warm oak, matches our oak hardwood floors pretty well. The picture is pretty close to a true match. For the price, these are way better quality than what you can get at the big box stores.

I think for the prices the quality is good. What I think is deceiving about the photos they provide is that there is a distinctive stripe pattern to the blinds... the main being the lighter tan color, with darker brown stripe every 7 or 8 slats. You can almost see this in their close up images on the website, but not in the ones showing the whole window. They do not look like the photo

These blind are trendy and affordable, nice looking and easy to install. They came very quickly and were wrapped securely. I would definitely order again.

Love the blinds! It let’s just enough light come in. If you are needing privacy blinds these are not it. You can see right through them at night. Which worked out fine bc I have curtains as well. They were easy to install. I read a lot of reviews that warned to buy them a size smaller but mine worked out perfect and measured true to size.

Color is not as shown. Much more “orange”, nothing like the color you see here.
