I originally ordered this runner to put in my vintage quilt closet. It turned out, however, to be so nice that I put it in our main hallway. The colors are very soft and muted, giving it a vintage look which goes beautifully with my other decor. My 1920s Tudor 3 level home has hardwood floors on the top 2 levels and polished concrete in the finished basement so I have many area rugs to define and warm up various areas/rooms. This is the first rug by this maker that I've purchased but it won't be my last. I am already thinking about any other uncovered space that might need a rug!
I purchased 2 different sizes of the Safavieh Evoke Vintage Ivory/Blue distressed rug. I received both rugs in less than a week. They were both in great condition. We remodeled our living room and wanted area rugs over the new floor. I ordered the 8'x10' for the area with the couch and wingback chairs and the 6'7"x9' for the area behind couch, a seperate sitting area. The colors are not loud, just enough to hide a little dirt the grandkids might bring in. They are very soft and look more expensive than the listed price. I like them so much I am looking for another rug for the dinningroom.
