The rug is a nice pattern and seems to be well made, but the cast of the color looks almost "green/gold" in my house. If you want a warm color rather than a cool or true beige this would work. For me however, I am not sure I will keep it as it doesn't quite go with the other browns in my room. I have another jute rug from this company and the color is more taupe/beige which I was hoping would be the undertones of this rug. So, be aware that it definitely has warm undertones in the gold, almost green area than the true beiges for people that are interested in the undertones of the rug. Also, some people wrote about some nice cream colors being in their rug, my rug does have a twinge of cream in the pattern, but gold/green is the primary thing I see in mine. I know they are handmade and can vary, but it is pretty far from what I was expecting.
I bought this in brown for a home staging I was doing. The color palate was perfect, though it looks blue or grey in the picture, it is actually more a sage green and there is some rusty/orange in it also. The rug is thin and I don't think it would wear in high traffic areas, but it looks great. Actually my daughter took it home after the staging she really loved it.!
Truly sage green (just like the culinary sage plant color} and accent colors are beautiful too (mauve brown gold and beige) Better in person than on the screen. I have this area rug in my living room and it gives cozy charm appeal. i gave it only 4 stars because the pile thickness isnt as thick as i was hoping, i have purchased other wool area rugs and they have been a thicker pile, (different brand- nuloom) This is my first Rizzy brand. Other than than the pile thickness it is a lovely addition to my room. Thank u "O"
