After searching high and low to find a rug to tie in with my newly decorated guest room, I fortunately came across this Safavieh Evoke Vintage Floral Rug. The combination of grey and gold was the finishing touch I desired. I like that this rug is thin since it is on top of carpeting. It is easy to care for and vacuums well, especially with our ever-shedding dog.
I live in a tiny LA apartment, with a wall heater ive never used. I decided to cover it with a lager mirrow and place the mirrow on to of this beautiful shag rug. It's very plush and elegant. Although I'm no complete with this area in my tiny here's a pic...
The rug was a little more gold than pictured but it worked for me. I wanted a runner in front of the sink and cabinet area and it worked out just right. Brought in some color in a low contrast area. The quality for the area was good. Would recommend it.
The rug is a nice pattern and seems to be well made, but the cast of the color looks almost "green" in my house. I I have another jute rug from this company and the color is more taupe/beige which I was hoping would be the undertones of this rug. I am not sure I will keep it. it definitely has warm undertones in the gold, almost green area than the true beiges for people that are interested in the undertones of the rug.
