I've used my mixer twice now and I really like it . I was surprised at how quiet it is compared to my old sunbeam . It doesn't struggle like my old one did and mixes everything much quicker. I got the color I wanted and it sits out on my countertop. So far so good . I am happy with it.
Here's the thing... I come from a long line of bakers. Kitchen Aid (all models) and Sunbeam mixers through and through. I hated my kitchen aid. It's huge, I keep it in the cabinet, weighs a ton pulling it out. But really what I hated was adding ingredients, you have that measuring cup full of whatever and you can't just dump it in (especially that little bit stuck at the bottom) whilst the machine is running. Then there's the need to stop and use the spatula to move batter to the middle, or off the bottom of the bowl. And I always prayed when doubling a batch of bread or cookies. The dough always required assistance. Now using the Bosch, and, after watching countless you-tube videos, I am 100% sold. This machine is incredible. My only regret is not knowing about it years ago, I'd have given it to my Mom for christmas! Worth every penny.
Bought this to replace a 50+ year old Sunbeam Mixmaster. Hope this one lasts as long! So far, it's been pretty easy to use and works great. Love the color! Less than thrilled with the black and orange sticker that won't come off completely…Really?
Have wanted one of these for years but did not want to pay the expensive price. I had a Sunbeam mixer that I brought from J.C. Penney's that worked for my needs. However my daughter last Christmas received this mixer but a different color and showed me all the wonderful things she can do with it. Well I was impressed and finally decided I wanted one. Got it for my birthday and have not regretted it. My old mixer I gave to my son's children who are learning to cook and bake. I just wish I had gotten my KitchenAid mixer sooner.
