I was amazed at how quickly this air conditioner cooled our living room. Within 10 minutes it went from sultry to ahhh cool. The only drawbacks have been the restrictive length of the exhaust hose and the noise is a bit much.
I bought this air conditioner to replace a 20 year old 15,000 btu unit that had stopped working. This a/c seems to draw fewer amps at start up. My old unit would always dim the lights when it kicked on. With this one we don't see any draw. It is a little bit louder than I hoped for, but nothing to distracting. Good unit would recommend.
this item cools my whole downstairs area, much better than a window air conditioner and it doesnt run loud

Great unit, easy to use and works well for the upstairs bedroom which doesn't cool well on those hot summer evenings. I like the fact that it came fully assembled and ready to use. Setting up the back vent through the window was easy and the unit even looks good in the bedroom. All in all, I'm extremely happy with the Shinco Air Conditioner.
So far this portable air conditioner is doing a good job of cooling one room - we've had temps in the 90's lately outside. While it doesn't cool as cold as we would like, we do not regret purchasing it. It is easy to maintain and set up. Overall happy with the purchase. Overstock has excellent customer service.
Great air but needs a air deflector, cool air shoots straight up!
This item is amazing and it does produce cool air. Is so easy to use and works as an air conditioner but without the major electricity bill. although is big, I like the fact that it has tires and is easy to move.
