this little compressor will work off of a 2000 watt power inverter. well worth the money.. it's like having a portable air tank that's self contained..
I've only used this little compressor for a few minutes each week since purchasing it mostly for maintaining air pressure in lawn and garden equipment tires, and similar smaller size tires. I can't speak for long term reliability at this point but the unit seems to be rather small, lightweight (15 lbs) and convenient. Some initial assembly is needed to attach the handle and air hose but that is easily accomplished with a few basic tools. Practically anyone should be able to use the compressor with ease after that. The air hose attachments that are included are an added bonus and should allow for a variety of inflating or "dusting off" of equipment uses. The noise level is reasonable in my opinion and it takes about 3 minutes to fill the 2 gal tank to 100 psi from empty.Power consumption is about 2.5 amps according to the owners manual.I went ahead and bought the 2 year replacement plan for $7.99 just in case I have reliability issues later on. I gave it a 4 star rating instead of 5 mostly because I haven't used it extensively enough to know how it will perform over the long haul.So far it's been a really handy little compressor to have around!
