• "It's more than tile, it's art." Moroccan Mosaic, a family business going back four generations, takes pride in the craftsmanship and tradition behind their handmade tiles. Headed by Samad, the company employs nearly 80 local workers who are taught a valued skill and paid fair wages. The workshop uses traditional techniques and natural colors derived from sources such as mint leaves, orange peel, and charcoal. The tiles themselves are made from a mixture of cement, sand, and granite powder, with no chemicals used at any step. Each tile is lovingly crafted by hand, ensuring no two pieces are exactly alike. Moroccan Mosaic aims to share the beauty and tradition of Moroccan tile while providing meaningful employment to local workers.
