Well obviously can't really know until done, but it looks like it will hold up to 300lbs unlike the question answer of 150 by overstock. I like the size for my small room. will need to use it for small amount of storage. Not crazy about the hinges does not lock in place while you put stuff in. I supposed I could buy and replace the hinges. Otherwise, for the price I am ok with it. and for you need the right color people the color on this chocolate brown is as the picture shows.

Poor quality for the price

I just received this ottoman which was delayed and wasn't advised of its arrival is my first complaint. It is not the greatest of quality compared to the one I was replacing. It is shorter than advertised (14.5") in height which was a deal breaker for me as we are very tall and this is for storage in a laundry/back hall area. Also, the hinges open beyond the ottoman meaning to open it, you have to have it placed at least 3" away from a wall which looks horrible. The bench can be lifted by one single person it is so light and therefore moves around on non-carpeted flooring. Storage capacity is good but that is the only positive. You can tell the bonded leather is also not the best compared to my old bonded leather ottoman which lasted me many years. All in all, very disappointed. Wanted to return it but I see you have to pay for shipping back which was probably considerable as Bed & Bath is no longer in Canada. Another complaint is the day after I ordered, I received a 20% off coupon and went on CHAT and they said I couldn't use the coupon as order was on its way; unlikely. It was $331 Cdn for substandard quality. Wish legs were a bit longer to bring up the height to what was indicated online. Very disappointing but I'm stuck with it. Won't be ordering from Bed & Bath again.

This is a great bench for the price. The ottoman is solid and looks great. It is easy to assemble and has a good amount of storage space. I use it as a mix between a coffee table/foot rest/extra seat. Fits toys, blankets, winter storage when you are too lazy to store the "small things" in the garage!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!
