A beautiful fixture that goes beautifully with my decor. Gives me abundant light in an area that had been too dark. Love it!

  • Terrible design - stay away

This light fixture fits in well with the room design, and it does allow for bulbs up to 75 watts - exactly what I was looking for, plenty of light. It is extremely poorly designed - there is no space inside the fixture (on top) to allow room for wires/caps, so once you attach it, you must hide the wires in the wiring box. This could be manageable with a smaller piece; since the diameter is about 20", bending wires to hide inside the box is nearly impossible! There is plenty of space inside, and if only the designers (if any were actually involved) dropped the top plate down 1" into the base (cut the mounting assemblies down), installing this thing would be a breeze! Oh, and the mounting screws that attach the fixture to the wiring box are too short (as another poster mentioned -- another inch would make attaching the light to the ceiling a lot less challenging). It does not end there however. To attach the glass, you have to hold the glass (big/heavy) and the outer metal rim with one hand, and use your second hand to find the mounting screws which are hiding on top (!) of the inner rim, then tighten them without looking, while maintaining balance (in my case on the top stair of a 5' ladder). I am not looking forward to changing light bulbs. I would have sent this back, but this is the third light we bought for our space, and I just didn't want to keep looking. Installation took over an hour; I'm not a master electrician, but other lights in the house took 5-10 minutes each.

  • Looks like a spaceship

I hate it, looks like a spaceship in my bathroom. Also when it was being installed the electrician told me the screws it came with weren't long enough and used some of his own. definitely don't put this in a bathroom, maybe a large conference room
