I was looking for a tray that could be used for dinner in front of the TV, and this tray is perfect. It is large enough for a dinner plate and some condiment dishes. It is heavy enough to feel stable on your lap. (Be aware, this tray *is* heavy; if you're looking for a tray for a small or weak person, this may not be the best choice.) And the real surprise is that it is quite attractive: looks like weathered wood, with a gray wash....very good looking. I bought 2 and am so glad I did. I will be keeping them both!
Exactly what I was looking for at half the price! This tray is beautiful and looks much more expensive than it is. Heavy and well built. I purchased this to go on my ottoman where it looks great and offers a nice finishing touch.

This tray was pretty but not worth the money. It did not last for even a year—broke in half. It would be pretty for displaying something or for occasional use, but it does not like water and if you are using a try regularly, you will probably want something sturdier.
