'I started to learn to sculpt at the age of eight when I was still in primary school, learning from my father how to carve traditional statues from wood. At first, I sold my statues to the sellers in the art market and at small shops. As time went by, I was able to bring out my ideas by selecting different types of wood and concentrating on the themes that could satisfy my creative desires. Exploring the abstract world refreshes my mind in creating new carvings.'

Smaller than I thought it was going to be but I thought it was so cool I probably didn't notice the height when ordering. I put it across the powder room.
I purchased this as a gift because it looked like something my friend would like who is an artist. It was sent directly to the person receiving the gift so I never saw the wood sculpture personally. They are usually very polite and send a quick thank you. When i didn't hear after a time, I emailed and asked if they received the gift. The response was,"yes." Nothing more. My guess is, it was not a big hit.
It matched as is as I expected. I would like to add varnish to get the right gloss and tone but that is my personal preference. Right size, looks great was as advertised. The price was reasonable

I've had this for several years now and still love it. Unfortunately, a friend dropped it on the floor and it cracked, but a little glue seems to have repaired it.
