We are in the process of remodeling our 1980's NO style home. It was a difficult decision, but we finally chose these rugs. First of all, the quality, color, and feel of the rugs (9 X 12 and 2X8) are amazing. They look absolutely beautiful in our home. However, my daughter who has inherited the house determined after their arrival that she wanted to change the assigned rooms. There is no problem with that, but now we need to find a coordinating one that will work in the kitchen. Additionally, there IS a slight color change for the two sizes. One reader had asked and was told they are exact. This is incorrect. The smaller is a darker brown. but, since the two are now going in adjoining rooms there is absolutely no issue. I plan to look for a coordinating one this weekend.....anyone have any suggestions for the kitchen area? Luv, luv, luv!!!!!!!!
I looked at rugs for months before deciding on this one. I'm so happy with my decision. I ordered the 9 x 12 and it fits perfectly under my furniture. The colors are as pictured online and it is soft with nice cushion. I didn't use a rug pad.
This rug is terrific....wish i needed more. In fact, i purchased the same one with the dark background for the living room and I get compliments galore. But here is something important to know. This same rug in the smaller sizes are COMPLETELY different. The material is a lot cheaper, more of a shag reminiscent of the '70s. Those are fine, actually, but not nearly as lux as the 9' x 12' in both colors. So don't order them for the same room (as I did) because they will not perfectly match. I called overstock about it and they had no explanation and could offer no resolution. Still, great rugs.
