This product is a motion sensor trash can. Need to install 4 AA batteries(not included). When an object approaches the trash can, hands-free operation lid opens within moment when in range of the sensor, and the lid will automatically close after staying for 5 seconds(Closure process indicated by countdown beam).This top lid uses our independently developed slow landing technology. The lid closes with hardly any sound, if the person next to you is taking a nap, there is no need to worry about disturbing them with this bin.
