  • So far so good

Ordered it at a good price, though I noticed it went up after I bought it. In an event, shipping was timely. It arrived I filled it up with oil, hooked it to a propane tank and it started right up after a couple of tugs. I haven't had to use it and bought it for emergencies or possibly camping, but at this point just emergencies. So. Can't comment on how good its done over the long haul.

It arrived on 3nd day after i ordered, in factory box, no extra protection. Hook up on propane line, engine started on 7th pull. 2nd time, about 30 minute after stoped, engine start on one pull. Quieter than I thought. dont have a chance to realy use it yet... hopefuly not. wish it comes with wheels and 240v outlet.

This generator starts up every time I've needed it. Never failed me once and is a good generator to have when the power goes out. In my area, it's pretty easy to lose power. Biggest reason I purchased a propane one over gasoline, is when the power is out, the gas pumps don't work. Also gasoline has a shelf life of less than a year before it goes bad. Cash in hand, and you can exchange a cylinder and store it as long as you need to.

  • So easy to get going and no more bad fuel
    Verified Purchase

I recently purchased this unit because I wanted one that I didn't have to worry about gasoline going bad if it is not needed for a while. This is a heavy unit, so instead of purchasing and retrofitting a wheel kit I went to the Tractor Supply store and bought a $20 furniture dolly for it and zip tied it to the frame for easy transport. I filled it up with SAE 30 motor oil, hooked up a propane tank using the supplied hose (which is long enough to reach the top of a 100lb tank). The generator started up within three pulls and ran smoothly and very quiet. Everything is labeled nicely and the instructions are very clear. I haven't tested out loading the unit yet, but I know it is ready for my next power outage to keep my sump pump and refrigerator/freezer running safely.

I bought the generator a month before Hurricane Sandy and am I ever glad I did ! I went a week without power, but the generator worked like a charm.I live alone and I did not want to have to spill gasoline all over myself so the propane worked so well! It was a God send..REALLY!!!

  • Perfect for my needs and just in the nick of time
    Verified Purchase

I plugged 2 1500 watt heaters into this generator after I started it up and it stalled, so it cannot maintain the 3250 watts that it claims. That being said - It is perfect for my needs. I did not want to mess around with gasoline and the propane is perfect. I got this generator 2 weeks before Hurricane Sandy hit. I was without power for 4 days. The generator started up each time on the first or second pull and was very easy to use. I was lucky enough that the first outlet i tried sent power to my refrigerator, my boiler, my microwave and my upstairs bedroom and bath. My next door neighbors gas generator would not start so I lent her my second output and was able to keep her refrigerator and few lights running also. Although it didn't produce as much power as it claimed to - it had plenty for my needs. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
