I do like the rug. However, I was surprised how blue it is. Description says coloring is Cream/Light Grey. The rug is much bluer than I expected, shows dark when in an unlit area. I'm going to keep it because I do like. I'll just a new quilt for my bed! I have other rugs from Safavieh and I love the quality and the pricing. I do recommend this product for anyone. Just be sure you won't mind how blue it is!
This is a gorgeous rug, and I got many compliments on it when it was new, but it did not hold up well. It pilled terribly, with fuzz coming off it for an exceptionally long time. I expect this in a new rug to a degree, but this one is excessive (and I've purchased MANY rugs from Overstock!). Also, it picks very easily and makes "runners" when you get a pull, to the point of leaving holes in the rug. I trimmed the runners as soon as they appeared, but it continued to deteriorate. I loved this rug when it was new, but I can't recommend it. (I purchased this in a 3x5 for the entrance and a 6x9 for the dining room - same for both rugs).
We bought a rug like this in 8 x 10 and found it so thick and luxurious we decided to get this matching rug to go under our coffee table. The deciding point for me was when I was wandering around *** and saw a thin acrylic 4x6 clearance rug on sale for *** that looked very cheap. This was no contest. This was plush and like a work of art. It will not be as carefree as a cheap walmart rug. We treated it with Scotchguard right away and left it overnight. Then vacuumed vigorously, as we have read as appropriate for this kind of rug for initiation. We are very happy with the new look in our home.
