Very nice and sturdy. Does well in a pot if you live in a windy area. Kept it out all last summer and it did not fade at all.
This a nice very full plant. The color is a beautiful dark green! I really love it on my front porch. This item us currently out of stock! I hope more come in soon. Trying to talk the condo board into buying them for the rest of our building!
I just purchased a piece of property and am buying more items on Overstock. I see that I purchased this 6 years ago and never left a review. The palm looks as good as the day I purchased it and is a wonderful complement to my home.
First I would say that these were very well packaged and got here in great shape. I got 2...one had 27 fronds and one 26...from the photo in the page, I did think they might be a bit fuller...but they are nice and I will be keeping them both.
I was pleased with this plant-- after several attempts to purchase others that didn't compare, I was so thankful to find this! It takes a little time to straighten out the plant, but once you're finished, you'll like the way it looks. I also recommend purchasing a separate ceramic container in which to place the entire plant, weighting it down (inside the original planter), and then covering the weights with wood chips or mulch (or whatever you use for the rest of your gardening).
Perfect addition to my living room without the upkeep. I've had many compliments since adding this and the palm tree to my decor. Touch of the tropics!
I love my palm! Unfortunately, mine even looks better than the online picture! Actually, can be moved anywhere in a home. I have my located on top of a small stand in a pot and it looks exceptional! A great value for the Areca Palm!
I'll say the picture here looked better than the product I received. It had A LOT of glue strands hanging off of it and it was a little sparse in the leaf department. It tipped over easily so I ended up putting it in a bigger pot and packing some foam around it to keep it upright.
Looks so real on my patio. However, I have to fix it. One of the two top leaves was off with the stem ripped and the ther has to be glued back on. I have to figure out how to fix the stem ad ten reattach it
Looks great in the office!
