This item hit my island and would cause the to the chair. For that reason I returned them.
After assembling the chair, it was tested by multiple family members, and all agreed that it did not feel secure when sitting on. It leaned forward and felt as if one would spill out of it. I returned the set of 4 and purchased them from a local store where I could sit in and test the chairs first. I then bought four chairs for my kitchen peninsula.
