I bought this electric glass tea pot for a replacement for my old one. I love it. It light up different colors to let me know what temperature the water is at. It goes very well with my other appliances.
Bought it for my daughter to take to college. She started using it in September and by December it was not working.
Disappointed, completely stopped working after less than one year.
unfortunately the RBG lights stopped working after 5 weeks
The tea kettle works fine. However, I'm very disappointed that the LED lights do not go around the entire base as shown in the image. The lights only appear approximately 1-1/2 inch on the base. As a result, the water color does not take on the various colors.

Fun kettle that is has a colored light
This is the second tea kettle that I have bought and I Love this one So much better than the first. I have had several comments about it being on my counter. Everyone loves it.
I thought I would be able to pick the color that the light lit up and would have 7 to choose from. That is not the case. It rotates through all 7 and just keeps cycling. I cannot speak on how the steeper basket works as I removed it and the bracket that holds it and just use it for water. I make alot of hot tea and hot protein drinks and got tired of waiting for the tea kettle to boil on the stove and then it would boil out of the kettle and make a mess and I always had to worry that one of the kids would burn them selves on the stove not realizing the burner was hot. this eliminated all of that. It heats up really quick and I am very happy with my purchase
The multi-colored LED lights only showed in a small area of the pot. Then after 2 days, they stopped working altogether! The glass also is thin. It functions ok and heats water in about the same time as my old pot that had a beautiful blue light that brightly reflected throughout the pot. A big disappointment.
