All wood good construction

Product arrived in 2 days in 4 boxes. It was well packed. Three of the boxes were heavy. I used a hand truck to move them, but a younger stronger person or two people would have made it easy. It took me 2 1/2 hours to assemble. I have assembled a lot of this type of product so an less experienced assembler should allow some additional time.
I assembled it unassisted, but there are a couple of steps that a second set of hands would have been very helpful.
All the parts and hardware were clearly labelled and the instructions were good. There were only 1 or 2 steps where you had to study the instructions to be sure which holes or side was facing which way. I used a power screw driver for the fasteners. There are a lot of screws and if you did them all by hand it would add quite a bit to the assembly time.
I was able to mount the doors by myself, but that step, in particular, really would have benefited if I had a second person to hold the doors while screwing in the hinges.
I added my own shelves below the hanging clothes bars to provide some additional storage. The pre-drilled holes accept the standard 1/4" spoon or L shaped shelf holders.
Overall a very good product. All pine, nicely finished and fully functional as wardrobe.

Great product & great customer service

Nice Product from Palace Imports (through Bed Bath & Beyond). Very easy instructions that you can view and understand. It took my husband and me (in our 60's) 2.5 hours to assemble. I ordered more shelves because I am using this armoire as a small kitchen appliance cabinet for my kitchen. One of the shelves arrived damaged, so I reached out to Palace Imports and they immediately responded and sent out another shelf replacement. The replacement shelf arrived without any damage. I am very impressed with the customer service/care that they extended to me. The Armoire in Java color is beautiful.

I love the Armoir but top piece was damaged.

Great fully wood cupboard

Item came in several boxes which was good as it is heavy. Well packaged. No damage. Directions were clear. Husband is thorough and glued all the dowels. Went together very nice with me helping hubby. We did purchase additional shelves , using for my homemade quilts and other stuff. Very happy with it. We got the white one.

Needed a wardrobe kit

This was not exactly what i was looking for however having an old home with narrow staircase I needed a kit. A prebuilt would not fit up staircase. I feel it is a little boxy looking, would have preferred more of a domed top. However as far as the interior it does allow more room than many of the other styles. Being able to order optional shelving is a bonus.

Nice Wardrobe

I purchased the Mocha colored wardrobe. This wardrobe was difficult to put together. It had taken my husband and me, approximately, 2 hours to put together. A couple of the holes didn't line up very well and the doors are a bit askew -- even after fidgeting around with the soft close hardware. The back of the wardrobe is very thing plywood. Other than the aforementioned, this is a nice wardrobe.

Nicely designed cabinet with ample room inside
So far, so good. As others have mentioned, this is real wood. It may not be cedar or cherry. So, it's pine, but it is nicely made and it's from sustainable forests. I got the Mocha colored cabinet without the mirror. It turned out to be the exact color I wanted. It's maybe like a dark maple color or a gold cherry. This has depth in its color. The cabinet is larger than I expected. It met my expectations. It fits just right on the wall I planned. Allow a few inches on each side for the top and bottom (see their dimensions diagram). I allowed for that, and it worked out. My husband put this together in a few hours. It's first put together with the front lying down. We both had to lift it when it came time to attach the doors. As someone else said in another review, don't a use a power drill. You won't need it anyway. We spaced out the nails for the back pieces but ran short a few nails. They give one extra of every screw, nail, and dowel. We used a few small nails we had on hand. Plan them out beforehand if you don't have extra. There is a light varnish/lacquer on the entire cabinet, which is nice, it's not overdone so it doesn't look really shiny. There was very small chip on the back part of the left corner of the top piece, but it's not noticeable. I am glad I got this. I almost got two credenza style cabinets which would have taken up two wall spaces. This looks a lot better on its own. The doors are soft close, a nice feature. The legs look sturdy. There is a center leg for added support. The center and two back legs are square while the two front are shaped. It comes with the anti-tipping hardware. The packages are heavy. There were four. The largest was almost 80 lbs, and as long as the cabinet length. The smallest with all the hardware was about 5 lbs. There is one non-adjustable shelf at the top that you attach as your assemble it. There is a wooden clothing rod in each of the two sections. The other shelves and optional drawers are ordered separately. I don't plan to use this as a wardrobe. I need a storage cabinet. I didn't know what to expect from the door pulls. They don't stand out to me. I like them. I couldn't tell which way they went because one picture online showed them one way, and another showed them the other way. I attached them so they don't hang down. There are no verbal instructions, only pictures and numbers. My husband put the screws, nails, and dowels in cups with the part number on each cup. It made it easier to assemble. As we are all aware, it is hard to tell what you will get when you order online. There were other cabinets I saw online and in person that I considered. This looks like the best choice I made for what I wanted. This seems to live up to its positive reviews.

Overall, the quality of the materials used for this wardrobe is worth the price! Its just because of the finishing job on each doors (see photos) made me rate this item 4 stars. I would still recommend this wardrobe to anyone!
