Story Behind the Art:-
Hello, my name is Dinesh and I was born in the city of Joy, 'Calcutta now Kolkata'. Our family soon shifted to New Delhi where I did my schooling and College. I grew up in a family where the importance of culture and tradition was given a lot. My family has been involved in social activities for a long time now. We have also been involved in a lot of charitable work like Old age home, charity for underprivileged children. We have a family trust from where we contribute substantially to Medical institute for the poor. So I have been brought up with a sense generosity for the poor and a helping hand for needy. Apart from being actively involved in these social activities, I was very keen on art and culture. I was always fascinated by the rich cultural diversity that our country owns. And the beautiful crafts work of different states brought me closer to my dreams which is to promote the craftwork of India. Each state in India has a unique beauty and it is very much depicted in their products. This interest in India craft made me to do a diploma in Export Management. With this diploma, I started coordinating with several artisans from different parts of the country. During this time, I noticed a lot of artisans who were such an expert in their own field but where not been able to market their products because they did not have the source. This made in even more firm in my plan to get into exporting. Initially, I got in touch based with the artisans from different place involved in different craft…. I started exporting their products to different places. Slowly, I stated a small unit and added artisans from different craft field and this way my journey into the realm of handicraft started. Its so beautiful to be able to achieve your goal and doing what you want in life. Currently, I have 15-20 artisans working for me in stone Handicrafts, wood & metal art ware and small gift items. And together we make beautiful pieces for the world to see and appreciate.
