Easy to assemble and fluff. A bit of an off-putting smell but I notice it less over time. Sturdy. I put it on a platform to allow more space below for a train and it does well being slide across uneven vintage tile.
I was a bit hesitant to purchase this tree without any reviews. But I had a coupon and rewards points, so got this for a really good price. I waited to submit review until I had the tree setup and decorated. So overall I am very pleased with this tree. I am very picky when it comes to artificial trees. I like a tree that looks 'natural', and this tree does not disappoint. Yes, the tips are plastic, but from a few feet away, they do look pretty real. I set this up a week before I planned to decorate so I could spend some time shaping. Like any new artificial tree, plan to invest some quality time shaping the tree. I like to spread and flatten the branches. Note that the plastic tips are layered over each other out of the box. You need to spread them apart and flatten them to get a nice, full effect on the surface of the tree. Even after investing hours shaping the tree, it wasn't quite as full as in the picture. But I wasn't too worried about this, as it meant more space for ornaments. Once I started decorating, I appreciated the shape and the fact that it wasn't as full as I expected. I mentioned I am picky about the shape of my tree, and I like when the branches on the surface are staggered, meaning some stick out further than others. This allows you to layer ornaments. So the reason I am only giving 4 stars: 1) not as full as in the pictures, 2) branch tips do not hold heavier ornaments (but this is typical of both live and other artificial trees), drop down branches are pretty loose, which causes some branches to twist a bit while shaping/decorating. Overall I am very pleased with this tree and would recommend!
