I purchased these ramps for an intended trip to a timeshare that I know has a couple of steps to negotiate. We have not yet gone there so I have not had a need to use them. They appear well constructed and they worked easily on a trial run. You need to experiment with placing the ramps to fit your wheelchair. An important accessory would be some kind of guage to make sure the ramps are at the proper distance apart for your particular wheel chair. I made such a guage out of a piece of plastic pipe which is very light weight and easily fits in the carrying pouch that comes with the ramps.
Pros: lightweight, helps to unload child's wheelchair and walker with less weight Cons: not easy to position to be perfectly parallel, telescoping slips out place
