  • The best product ever!

Are you kidding me? This product has changed my life, no kidding. I no longer suffer from insomnia. I was one of those people who takes hours to fall asleep. The minute I would lay down, my mind would start racing, a million thoughts would go through my head. I couldn't turn it off. From what my next days chores were to what we were going to have for dinner what bills I need to pay. I suffered from this for years and I was always run down and tired. NO LONGER! This unit has a 30 minute shut off and I have been using it for about two years and in that time have only had to restart it about 4 times. I regularly fall asleep every time within the first 30 minutes. I can recommend this product enough. Try it. It will change your life too!

  • These eye shades are great.
    Verified Purchase

I needed to be able to block out all noise and light during my vertigo episodes and this product does the trick. It is comfortable and easy to use and the sounds of nature are very relaxing. I fall asleep soon after I put them on. The sounds last only 30 minutes which is sufficient for their purpose. If anyone suffers from migraines or are sensitive to light and sound, this product will definitely help you. I also appreciate the fact that you can listen to your own music with little difficulty.

  • Good Product, but...
    Verified Purchase

I bought this item because I was using a sound machine and eye covers separately, so I figured since I needed new eye covers that I'd just try combining the two with this product. It's a great concept, and the filling material is nice and soft, however the whole thing is a little bulky for my taste. The bigger problem is the outer material, it's almost like a velour/velvety type material. I think under normal circumstances it would be okay, but I live in AZ and the outer material doesn't breathe that well, so it ends up making my face sweaty and hot. I still use the product though, maybe not every night, but overall it's a nice concept. Plus, there's a place where you can plug in your iPod or CD player and listen to your own music if you don't want to listen to the ocean or other nature sounds they have already built in.

  • Good Idea - Poor Execution
    Verified Purchase

I have always been pleased with quality, so I was disappointed in this product. The idea is innovative - eye shades that play soothing sounds or music. However, the pair I received didn't work much longer than 5 minutes. Even with fresh batteries, they just don't work any more. As eye shades, they are quite heavy, so you are forced to keep your head in one position. The mechanical parts keep you from sleeping on your side. I still think this product is a great idea and with a little fine tuning could be perfected.

First thing I have ever ordered from Overstock I would not recommend. :( Be careful when you order these are not returnable. These are combersome. Sound does not sound like ocean. More like a lot of static. I wear eye shades to bed everynight because my room is bright in morning. You can't sleep on your side with these on because one side is where batteries are and sound fixture on other side. You would be better off to get regular eye sleeping shades and sleeping headphones if you want to sleep to sounds of nature or music~~
