I have been using wen for sometime. Contrary to what others have said and I know there was a lawsuit and it was settled for a sum of money. However, I have used it and continue to use it and never had any problem with hair loss etc. People have to be aware of the type of hair they have and not everything on the market works for everybody. I am of mixed race as a result my hair texture is soft and curly. My curls feel silky and moisturuzed when I used Wen. And I enjoy the stimulation of the minty thing going on. I have no quarrel with this product.
I loved how this cleaned my scalp without stripping it and making my curls feel dry! Made with no sulfates and enriched with Avocado, Sweet Almonds, and Aloe Vera, this shampoo gently cleanses your curls, waves, and coils without damaging them. First, I start off by wetting my hair. Then, I take a bit of the shampoo and massage it throughout my scalp. It is not thick, but not really light- but in the middle. Considering the fact that it is sulfate-free, it has a pretty good lather. Finally, I rinse it out. My scalp feels REALLY clean and refreshed, and again, without the “stripped” feeling. I love how it has the perfect moisture level! Like it does not feel my hair dry, but yet it does not “over-moisturize”. It leaves my curls hydrated and moisturized, but not dried out. My hair is very thick and curly, so following up with a deep conditioning treatment is vital. That is why after rinsing the shampoo out, I follow up with the Mixed Chicks Deep Conditioner. Overall, I really like this shampoo for cleansing my scalp and hair without stripping my hair and drying it out!
