This size was a little pricey, but I had a gift card and used it for half of the cost. I didn't need it for a wheelchair, I needed it to help me get large items in and out of my SUV without straining my back. I also needed a ramp for my shop building in the backyard. This was less expensive than having a permanent ramp made. The extended lip will be useful when I decide to bolt it down to the shop doorway permanently. The only downside for me are the raised edges meant for safety. I will have to modify the entry to the shop so the doors will clear them and still close properly.
I like this ramp but do make sure that you have a door that opens inward and no screen door. I can't remember if it specified that in the description.
After recieving my new ramp I was greatly excited. It works very well but the picture shows a handle but the handle on the ramp is just a small metal hook and not an actual handle. That is the only thing that I dislike because it makes it a little combersome but it works well and it does the trick..
These ramps are much heavier than I anticipated. I was amazed that a booklet and a DVD were sent to instruct on use of the ramps. Product use should be much simpler. The part that fits on the car is rough and I would be concerned about scratching the car's finish. I am not able to push the scooter up them so they are of no use, no value to me.. The fault is most likely in my lack of strength rather than in the product.
