This scooter is fairly light, cheaper than renting one for 3 months (and in better shape and unused), and allows for great mobility. Crutches can be dangerous in the wrong hands. If we could only figure out how to collapse it for getting in in the trunk, it would be perfect. It fits in a standard trunk, with a little maneuvering, and in the back of a small SUV--with the handle up.
The caregiver of the mobility-challenged person I sent this to said it tilted forward when she pushed it while it was converted to a transport chair mode. It scared the user...
Great chair (17") wide....light and easy to manipulate.... So I got 2 !! One for everyday inside and one outside for travel and enjoyment !! Recommend for teens or adults...I am 66 yes, 5'6, 133 lbs ..... Try this smaller chair and small wheels, if you have upper mobility and heavy chairs are comberson !! Enjoy !!
