The caregiver of the mobility-challenged person I sent this to said it tilted forward when she pushed it while it was converted to a transport chair mode. It scared the user...
Right out of the box it was easy to assemble and go. I did charge the scooter overnight prior to taking it out for an adventure. I am short carrying 270+ pounds, and this scooter had no problems at the mall or at the Tennessee Aquarium. Both outings left the scooter with 6 of the 8 charge lights remaining, and both outings took more than 3 hours each. It comes apart easily and back together again. In spite of having sciatic nerve issues and degenerative disc disease I was still able to load the unit in my 2013 Hyundai Veloster, & my wife's 2013 Honda Accord with room to spare. The turning radius is really good for tight spaces, and it is narrow enough to make my way through most stores. I am now enjoying freedom and independence that I had lost. Thanks to Drive Medical & Overstock for making this unit available at an affordable price.
This power scooter came on time, was as described, plastic and metal are brand new and shiny, the battery is included and it is easy to assemble. I had not paid attention to the fact that it is low to the ground, however, and this will make it difficult to navigate on city streets where curbs and holes exist. This restricts the mobility, because the wheels are also small. This scooter is best for a large house or a flat lawn or concrete area.
