    • Rollator/walker
      Verified Purchase

I bought this rollator/walker for my elderly mom. The product is light weight for me, easy enough to put it in and out of my compact car. It is too heavy for mom to lift. I was able to adjust the height, suitable for her as she is very short. The wheels roll easily and can turn to any direction without any difficulty. It is a great product for the cost.

    • BEST WALKER I'VE HAD!
      Verified Purchase

I already have this walker and purchased another. It weighs 11 lbs and the bag is nice because it folds up with the walker. I can conceal my purse in the bag. This walker it is the lightest one I've had. I can put it in and out of my car easily. The wheels and the handles adjust. The hand grips flare out and are made to support your hand and wrist better than others. I am very happy with this product and the price is good..

    • Excellent value/Solid structure/also attractive
      Verified Purchase

I have been an RN just over 30 years and also have had Multiple Sclerosis for the same period of time. Sometimes my balance is poor and that is when I use a cane. My health has been "off" for the past few months and it was time to start walking again to build up quad and core strength. I felt too short of breath to continue with a cane so I started looking online initially for a folding walker with wheels and seat. Almost everyone that I found weighed 25lbs and over which is too much weight for me to lift into my Jeep Commander and take to a store or other venue. Found this Meline product which I have always been pleased with while practicing as an RN. The "Red Baron" as I have named him arrived within a few short days. I could normally assemble a walker of this nature and model in 5 minutes or less for my home bound patients. This one with poor dexterity in my own MS hands took me 15 minutes tops. I am short at 5' 2" and I love the feature that allows for a short person up to a person well over 6 feet to use this one rollator walker. The wheels are solid (no air required or flat tires) and roll easily over rough terrain or turf. Perfect for getting some air outside. Extremely safe for those like me that have heart issues and require a place to sit albeit in the middle of a store. The color is fantastic in a deep ruby red making it versatile for male or female genders. The only drawback is that is does not fold up to load into the car..........but it is also only 10lbs and easily fits into the back of my Jeep. I am pleased to make the trade between a folding walker with the extra weight to lift versus this light and sassy one that keeps me INDEPENDENT!!! Highly recommend for children up to senior plus adults. Again, as an RN, the Medline brand was a 'go to' for quality durable medical equipment for in home use.

    • Great Walker
      Verified Purchase

This walker is as advertised and arrived in a timely manner. It appears to be excellent quality and mechanically sound. Fabric bag under the seat is an advantage over a basket in that the walker can be folded without removing it.

    • great walker for shorter people
      Verified Purchase

I bought this for my mother who is 5' tall. Many walkers are made for taller people. (This can be adjusted for taller people as well.) It's light, it moves easily, it can be folded easily to be put in a car. At first my mother was not excited to be given a walker, but now she uses it all of the time. The only downside I've seen with it is that it won't stay folded while upright so it can be placed somewhere out of the way. (Though some long velcro straps could probably help with that.)

    Questions & Answers

    • Q:

"What is the height of the seat from the floor?"

      • A:

That will depend on the height adjustment of the legs

    • Q:

"I keep finding conflicting information in the answers. How wide is walker at widest point wheels included) 17" or 24". Does it fold or not? If it folds how thick is it when folded?"

      • A:

24", it folds, 171/2" thick due to handles. Will not stay folded in a standing position - I use double sided Velcro tapes to keep it closed.

    • Q:

"I've purchased 2 Medline assistive walking devices in the past week which were both returned because they were too wide to fit through a narrow passage joining my mothers family room and kitchen. These were a Medline rollator purchased at **** and a Medline walker with front wheels purchased at *** drugs. I thought the standard walker looked a bit narrower and worth a try but it turned out to be just as wide as the rollator (outside wheel dimension about 24 inches) which was probably a couple inches too wide. I'm wondering if the Medline super light weight rollator will do the trick? Also are there any other rollator or front roller walkers that might also be narrow enough but still sturdily built to do the job. Thanks, Dave M"

      • A:

Bought for my mom. She has a very small house and it works. Sorry I don't know measurements but it is smaller than C***** ones she tried. It is also more lightweight and very smooth rolling. The white is nice looking too!

      • A:

        because it is light

      • A:

Purchased because of lightweight and favorable reviews

      • A:

Light weight. I am not suppose to lift more than 5 #, I do cheat occasionally, so this is much lighter than most I have seen.

      • A:

My mother needs a walker that is more narrow in order to be able to use it in narrow hallways of our mobile home. Reviews were very impressive.

      • A:

      • A:

lightweight construction and price along with padded seat and storage features

      • A:

I have happily been using (and abusing) one for over 8 years. "Ruby" helps me haul everything from trash, groceries, table settings, crystal, wine, laundry, books, plants, etc. The new "Ruby Walker" will take over a daunting legacy. My 1st "Ruby" will retire to lighter duty. My MS is annoying; "Ruby Walker" became my best friend and liberator.

      • A:

Lightest weight walker I could find

      • A:

I am 85 yrs. old and needed a lightweight rollator.

      • A:

For my mom. She had had a knee surgery.

      • A:

Appears to be a perfect fit for my petite mother

      • A:

light weight - because this is needed for travel and getting in and out of the car

      • A:

Have Medline heavyweight walker. works well for outside and off road walking. Wanted something lighter for inside use.

      • A:

Because the width would fit thru a narrow bath door.

      • A:

Using a friends just like it and need my husband, recently taken ill with serious illness.

      • A:

Narrower than others, 17 inches at its widest point.

      • A:

    • Q:

"Do the brakes lock so it can't roll away while you support yourself to stand?"

      • A:

The brakes do rock but any rolling walker will not hold your weight if you lean against it. I use mine for shopping and love it. When I need that rest, I lock my brakes and sit down. Very comfortable seat and it flips up for storage of purse and small bags. Please know that this walker does not fold up to put into a trunk. I have an SUV that it goes in easily. This one not folding is almost 10 pounds lighter than those that do fold. Highly recommend for home, taking a walk outside and shopping. I am an RN and was also pleased with the simplicity of adjusting the legs

    • Q:

"Does this model fold or not. One reviewer says it does not fold."
