The powder wears well but it goes on fairly heavy if you aren't careful. Maybe that will mean that I won't use it up as quickly but it makes it difficult to apply.
Each color had okay pigments and were easy to build up or blend out. I would definitely put a matte bronzer underneath to build on the color though. I have a caramel/honey skin tone, so I bet if I was lighter, the colors would be even more pigmented.
Originally I used the Jane iredale compact powder, but felt I needed more coverage to even out my skin tone. I have some redness and some fine veins. This product does the trick. I apply it with my fingertips and then smooth it with the Jane Iredale make-up sponge. People have actually stopped me on my way into the supermarket and complemented me on my skin. I start with the Jane Iredale primer, then this and follow up with the bronzer. The end result is great and lasts all day. I've been told by more than one person that my skin is so beautiful and that it glows. People ask, "What's your secret?" I learned about Jane Iredale cosmetics from a friend whose skin was looking better and better. She shared her secret with me and now I can share it with you. BTW I'm 58 and my friend is 60! So, it's really nice to still get compliments on having beautiful skin!
