this product does help with frizz but it doesn't do any better than other product we've tried.

In Mathis humid weather you can't go wrong with a smoothing cream from John Frieda.

  • Doesn't live up to John Frieda name

It helped to straighten my hair somewhat, but I would not have had much different results without it. Usually I quite pleased with John Frieda products, but not this time.

It's funny, I came across this product the way another reviewer did, because I needed a small item to avoid shipping charges, and I am happy I did. I have seriously frizzy hair, and it does help! I will buy this again. I didn't give it 5 stars, because it seems to loose its effectiveness as the day goes on (or it could just be the 100% humidity in Miami)

  • Straight but frizzy

I came to Overstock to buy something else but then I saw online that if you spend $20, you get $5 off. My original purchase was $18. I searched the site until I found this. I straighten my hair a lot so I thought I'd try this. I took a shower, waited a while with my hair in a towel as always. Applied 2 dime sized drops into my hands (thick long hair), rubbed it into my hands a little and put it in like my leave in conditioner. Then I flipped my hair over and blow dried it upside down to add volume. My hair dried quicker than normal and it came out straight. My hair is poofy and frizzy but a quick run over with the straightener and it looked fine. Now I can spend 10 minutes doing my hair vs 45. My hair isn't oily as some other reviews I read mentioned. My hair is light weight and soft :)
