I like this product because it's pure and natural. It does wonders for my hair which was dried out and broken from daily styling. Once I knew how much (and not any more, 6 droplets total, starting at the ends and working my way up) of the oil my hair needed, I was set. However I can not use this product daily because I have very sensitive skin and it seemed to be making me break out on my neck and chest, the places where the product, while in my hair, was touching my skin excessively. So I have cut down application to every other or every third day and that seemed to eliminate any excess oil on my sensitive skin areas. As I read in a previous review, the smell of the oil is not very pleasant but my theory is that if you can smell it on yourself, then you have used too much. The smell, for me, is mild and only lasts for the duration of application. Overall, this oil is absolutely great when used correctly and can easily be adjusted for different hair and skin types. Also because of how concentrated the oil is, the large bottle, at about $xx, will last for a long while.
I saw a product similar to this on a home shopping network for all most 3 times the cost decided to buy it from O.co instead and I am very happy I did. It soaks into my skin very quickly and doesn't leave my skin oily and all. I all so put a few drops on the ends of my hair, and my hair is looking better and better the more I use it. Great product!
I have spent ridiculous amounts of money on skin care and hair care when I could have just been using this oil in my daily regimen . I made my own face wash using this oil along with castile soap and a few other natural ingredients and I've been adding it to my moisturizer . My skin and hair look amazing. Your hair only needs a little bit or it will make it greasy. I have fine but thick hair.
Toppix really works. I have extremely thin hair to the point where you can see scalp depending on how my hair is styled. My underlying natural hair color is light brown and I have blonde highlights added so I use a combination of medium blonde and light brown Toppix. I actually don't blend them together as some have, but apply the light brown first and then the medium blonde. You have to work with the product a bit to find the best way to apply it. I have both the bulb applicator and the hairline applicator. Most days just shaking the container lightly at a 20 degree angle over the area does just fine. I then lightly tap the area with the teeth of a comb to shift it from the surface of the hair down closer to the scalp. Hairlines can be a little tricky if you have side swept bangs as the excess fibers will stick to your skin, but they just rub off. Hold off on any hairspray until you are satisfied with the amount you have added. A light hairspray helps to keep the fibers in place. Toppix has really given me many a "good hair day" and has helped keep my self consciousness about my thin hair down in check.
