All of these type products require a feather-lite touch, practice & patience. You almost have to focus just on grazing the surface - it may not get every single hair every time, but it does get most. Not even waxing or creams will always get each hair. With all of these speed-tweeze type things, you get better at it over time as you recognize light pressure and growth direction. The bonus is how long the hair stays gone and that over long term use, it becomes finer or nonexistent I spent a little over ** for an emjoi 140 tweeze and this 3 tweeze for the face at **. Both work well and fast. Yes, it does hurt the first few times, but use ice or an anti-inflammatory beforehand & it wont bother you much. It literally is tweezing your hair out with the root, so pain is the thing most people forget is an unavoidable aspect. But not having stubble or ingrown hairs or long periods of time trying to tweeze the problem hairs that only increase with age? Totally worth it.
I have used Epilady epilators for over 25 years and love it. I do not have to worry about shaving for 3 weeks. I have three different Epilady's; one for my facial area, one for my legs and one in my overnight bag. It takes only a few times to get use to it but after awhile, you will love it as I do.
This is a HIGHLY effective product. The key is to use a dusting powder before applying the wax. This helps the wax to adhere to the hair as opposed to the skin, and it does double duty by removing more hair while cutting down on the pain. The wax is water soluble so cleanup is relatively easy, the strips can be reused over and over again. Since discovering this product I always keep a backup around so that I never run out!
