I like the rest monitor it is extremely easy to use but the cardiologists do not seem to be too happy with the wrist monitors as they are not always extremely accurate I had no problems with it whatsoever but the cardiologists insisted on the blood cuff for the arm monitor
My husband recently had surgery and is taking medication for high blood pressure. When he got home they wanted his blood pressure to be taken several times a day. We were using the standard blood pressure cuff and when looking through overstock for a new cuff I came across this one that is simply put on ones wrist and the reading can be taken. I purchased this thinking it would be a lot easier to take since he was bed ridden for some time. Since my husband is a large man when placing the cuff on his wrist and starting it we kept getting an error reading. Then the reading was so far off I decided to change the batteries out as they came with this unit and I did not know how long they were in there. After doing so, we got a reading but not sure if it was accurate or not. We used the old standard cuff and they were not even close to each other. So I used the cuff on my self and I am a small lady, and got an accurate reading. So I am go to say that this blood pressure cuff might be good for small people, but would not recommend it for larger people.
I am so glad I purchased SmartHeart Automatic Digital Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor. After deciding I need to be proactive in my well-being I wanted to track my blood pressure. I reviewed many products and decided to purchase the SmartHeart Automatic Digital Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor. I am so glad that I decided on this particular one. It works perfect for my needs and is very easy to read and understand. I did not care for the more elaborate monitors. That is not for me-I just want something simple and reliable. Since I have been using the monitor, it gives me information so that I can make the needed adjustments. One of the many disturbing medical conditions is having High Blood Pressure (HBP). In my family there is history of strokes and heart attacks. After feeling not myself in all areas with my body and mind I had a full medical physical. I had been told of this years ago and never thought I would be at risk of HBP because I eat healthy, I am active and I do moderate exercising. I highly recommended the SmartHeart Automatic Digital Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor.
