I got this blood pressure cuff to help with my patients vital signs . It takes a while and often the Velcro releases with larger wrist . I would get the upper arm one next time .
My husband recently had surgery and is taking medication for high blood pressure. When he got home they wanted his blood pressure to be taken several times a day. We were using the standard blood pressure cuff and when looking through overstock for a new cuff I came across this one that is simply put on ones wrist and the reading can be taken. I purchased this thinking it would be a lot easier to take since he was bed ridden for some time. Since my husband is a large man when placing the cuff on his wrist and starting it we kept getting an error reading. Then the reading was so far off I decided to change the batteries out as they came with this unit and I did not know how long they were in there. After doing so, we got a reading but not sure if it was accurate or not. We used the old standard cuff and they were not even close to each other. So I used the cuff on my self and I am a small lady, and got an accurate reading. So I am go to say that this blood pressure cuff might be good for small people, but would not recommend it for larger people.
I can say the reading of my blood pressure has been very consistent since the first time I use Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor. I try to monitor my blood pressure a couple times a week, since I been diagnose with blood pressure since mid May. I been so happy with the accuracy reading that I gotten regardless if my blood pressure is a little high at times.
