My husband recently had surgery and is taking medication for high blood pressure. When he got home they wanted his blood pressure to be taken several times a day. We were using the standard blood pressure cuff and when looking through overstock for a new cuff I came across this one that is simply put on ones wrist and the reading can be taken. I purchased this thinking it would be a lot easier to take since he was bed ridden for some time. Since my husband is a large man when placing the cuff on his wrist and starting it we kept getting an error reading. Then the reading was so far off I decided to change the batteries out as they came with this unit and I did not know how long they were in there. After doing so, we got a reading but not sure if it was accurate or not. We used the old standard cuff and they were not even close to each other. So I used the cuff on my self and I am a small lady, and got an accurate reading. So I am go to say that this blood pressure cuff might be good for small people, but would not recommend it for larger people.
