Purchased for use on 'usual' toilets, even some in 'accessible toilets' are not suitable for lots of people with accessible needs. Suitable for persons with 'knee or hip issues', where squatting on usual toilet is uncomfortable or transfer from/to a mobility aid to lower toilet is a problem. This product is fairly light-weight to carry, and the back flat side makes it easy to stand upright on luggage trolleys or back seat floor of vehicle. For transport & storage, we put euro-pillowcase on unit and place in one of those give-away carrier bags, I close by safety-pinning the pocket over the unit to other side of the bag. (I place the Bio TP-70 portable bidet in the center, a pair of disposable briefs and small pack of handwipes & disposal bag... then all requirements are at hand.) Only issue I found, unit fits round toilet bowls and will slide a little when placed on elongated toilet bowls. However, trade-off for seat height is worth it.
We ordered this adjustable stool when I broke my leg. The base is very study and will handle the weight of someone over 200 lbs. However, the 4-star rating reflects my disappointment with the seat which split slightly at the seams. It was still functional, but I had concerns over the water getting inside of the seat.
I purchased a similar bench from another site without the cross bars. Little did I know there was 250lb. wt. limit on the bench, In less then a month of every morning use the legs gave way under my wt... I ordered the Medline Bariatric 500lbs. capacity. No problems!!!! The only draw back, for me is the chair height. I have problems with both my knees and I am 5'10 &190
The raised toilet seat was very easy to attach to my toilet. The arm rest helps to get up and down from the seat. All in all I am very happy with the seat, I bought one for my toilet and another for my bathtub.
