  • I wouldn't buy it again

My complaint is not with the quality of the product, the curler is sturdy and is pretty sleek looking. BUT..... You cannot use this thing without accidentally turning it off! The off button is exactly where you place your hand to open the curler up and put your hair in. Almost every time I reach for a strand of hair, I hit the button and it turns off. Further more, you can't really hear it turn off and the light that turns red indicating that the power is on is facing away from you so it's extremely easy to not notice that the curler has been off for sometime... until of course you notice your hair is not curling anymore. Then you have to wait for it to heat up again. I find myself waiting for this one to break so I can buy a different one. I wouldn't buy this product, there are so many more to choose from at the same price.

  • don't be duped

I am currently trying to purchase mostly products Made in USA as this product was described on the web description. I was excited to find a curling iron whose product description on Overstock contains the stamp "Made in USA". Upon receipt of the product I noted clearly stamped into the plastic casing is "Made in China". If I had wanted a Made in China product I could have driven down to the nearest Wal-Mart and most likely gotten it cheaper. Don't be duped like I was.

I looked and looked for this size and it curls like the $100 curlers do. LOVE IT!

  • Not that great

Quality is absolutely solid, but what I don't like about this iron is that it doesn't have a grip on thinner strands of hair. Also, I keep (non willingly) turning it off while ironing my hair because of the placement of the button.

This curling iron takes forever to be heated up and once it gets hot, it keeps turning off.

  • nice shirt, but its a boys not mens size

the barrel is to big to really put a curl in medium length hair but it does an excellent job at smoothing and straightening with a rounded edge.

  • Wow! What Curls!

I love my Andis Tourmaline Nanoceramic 1.5-inch Curling Iron. It heats up super fast and the swivel cord doesn't let the cord get all twisted and tangled up. The 1.5 inch rod gives me beautiful curls that aren't too tight, yet not too loose. Just perfect. I am very happy with my curling iron and would recommend this product to everyone.
