I am on Metro Denver RTD system - buses and light rail, with an O2 tank on a cart or the small one in my pack. We have downpours and sometimes heavy wet snow. This is a great compromise in weight and water resistance vs durability. Having just been caught 2 days ago in colder than expected temps + wind, I would have put it on for the extra wind protection. Would also be a great item for a campus pack or vehicle emergency kit. I've spent half this amount on store products that are not as sturdy, smaller and less convenient to pack.
We purchased this for an emergency stove as well as cookouts when a large surface is needed ... bought the flat-top that goes with it. OS.COM had the best price on the stove and we're happy.
