I just had to order this, I am happy to have something physical in my hands in case the grid goes down. I was going to download videos on tying knots, but that's not practical . I am a happy customer!
I am on Metro Denver RTD system - buses and light rail, with an O2 tank on a cart or the small one in my pack. We have downpours and sometimes heavy wet snow. This is a great compromise in weight and water resistance vs durability. Having just been caught 2 days ago in colder than expected temps + wind, I would have put it on for the extra wind protection. Would also be a great item for a campus pack or vehicle emergency kit. I've spent half this amount on store products that are not as sturdy, smaller and less convenient to pack.
Hi very basic and affordable, got it for my two little cousins for camping, great value. Serves it's purpose for a boy scout sleepovers, not sure if it inspires enough confidence for real deal camping and survival needs. materials look a bit on the cheaper less solid side, but I'm sure will serve it's not so heavy duty purpose.
