My Microsoft powerbrick was starting to overheat and make loud noises, despite a thorough cleaning to its internal parts. I decided to take a leap of faith and buy a non-OEM replacement due to its value (less than 50% of the price of a Microsoft unit), but was apprehensive on how well it would work. This powerbrick works flawlessly, and I will purchase the same one again when it needs to be replaced. This one, new, is cheaper than a used Microsoft one.
This is a decent unit. They are all made in China so they have a short lifespan unfortunately, but it is what it is. This is the 4th replacement power supply I've had to buy (first from Overstock and this manufacturer). Fingers crossed it works for a while.
