I had a very good wired gaming mouse from a different company that lasted me about 4 years. However, the old mouse had a couple of significant design flaws: metal accents and independent left and right-click button covers. Over time, the metal accents started to get worn down and develop some verdigris from skin oils and moisture in the atmosphere. The final straw on the camel's back was the right click button cover, which was an entirely separate piece of plastic, snapped at its attachment points on the interior of the mouse body. Once they snapped, there was no way for me to access the interior without disassembling the mouse, so I decided to replace it. I really chose this mouse based on price, but it's a very nice looking mouse at the same time. My expectations were shattered when I opened the box. The mouse was packaged extremely well--that's always a good first impression. The mouse is fairly hefty, but not so in a burdensome way. It has an auto-timeout for battery saving which is a Godsend--it only requires a single click to wake it up. And, of course, it has adjustable DPI which is pretty much a requirement for a serious gamer. All-in-all I'd say this is the best mouse I've ever purchased. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a gaming mouse, but even to someone only looking for a nice wireless mouse. In the future, I'll browse this company's offerings before looking at any other manufacturer.
